Our Village Translators & LPFM's

Kotzebue Broadcasting (KOTZ-AM & KINU-FM) maintaines a system of FM translators (since 1986) for our outer most villages of Ambler, Shungnak and Kobuk. Our other villages,(Buckland, Deering, Selawik, Kiana, Noorvik, Noatak, Kivilina, Red Dog Mine, and Red Dog Port Site) all have licensed LPFM transmitters to serve the village proper.
